Carl Moon’s Idea of Success

“Success is freedom—the freedom to live on your own terms, create impact, and uplift others along the way.”

The Humble Beginning

Carl Moon's journey is not a typical entrepreneurial story. Starting his career as a grocery store cashier in Sweden, Carl was driven by a deeply personal cause and a powerful belief in the law of attraction. Today, Carl is the founder and CEO of the Moon Group Investment LLC and has invested in more than 400 Web3 projects, an inspirational story for many others who share the same belief as Carl.

Carl always believed in the law of attraction and manifested a rich life. He visualized owning everything he desired, from a big house to luxury cars and a premium collection of the world’s best watches to flying in a private jet.

He had a broader vision to impact the lives of others. He was searching for an opportunity, a revolution he could be part of, and in 2017, he found it: Bitcoin.

What began as a simple curiosity quickly turned into an ambitious drive to understand what Carl believed could be the “future of money.” He deep-dived into cryptocurrencies, spending hours studying charts, going through whitepapers, and conducting regular market analysis.

Carl wasn’t just learning; he was decoding the future of finance. Driven by his thorough understanding and vision to transform traditional finance, Carl was ready to make a difference. He saw the potential for a decentralized world before it was mainstream and knew he couldn’t keep it to himself.

The Birth of The Moon Show

In 2017, with just a camera and a strong belief, Carl launched his YouTube channel, “The Moon Show.” The channel was born from his passion for cryptocurrency and faith that it was here to stay.

Carl’s first video on The Moon Show generated just over a thousand views in 2017, which was enough to fuel Carl’s mission of transforming the crypto space. Today, with over 656k subscribers and millions of views, The Moon Show holds strong and is a testament to Carl’s incredible legacy and impact in the crypto industry.

On The Moon Show, Carl shares in-depth crypto analysis, industry updates, and market trends. It also features videos of Carl covered by major media outlets like Fox Business and Cheddar News, taking his vision to an even wider audience.

The Mission: More Than Just Crypto

Carl Moon has actively invested in more than 400 blockchain startups and is the founder and CEO of The Moon Group Investment LLC. However, Carl's drive to success has always been about something rooted in a deeply personal story of his younger brother’s struggle, resilience, and gratitude.

Born with Down syndrome, his brother has faced several life-threatening medical challenges. He is a true fighter, having survived two major heart surgeries in his earliest days and battling two different forms of leukemia. In total, he has endured over 60 surgeries. Watching his brother’s fight, Carl saw firsthand the fragility of life and the incredible power of life-saving medical care.

That experience defined his purpose. He lives by a powerful truth he has shared publicly: “If my little brother hadn’t gotten surgery, he wouldn’t be here today.”

The success achieved in the crypto world was not just for building a lavish life but for creating a platform that could provide a second chance for those who need it most. Carl sees his wealth as a responsibility, stating, “Whenever we make life-changing money, we should remember that it can be life-changing not only for us, but for thousands of children around the world.”

Driven by his brother’s story, Carl has become a major philanthropic force in children’s health. He donated over $400,000 to Kids Operating Room (KidsOR), funding entire pediatric operating theatres in Tanzania and Zimbabwe. His contribution to the facility in Tanzania alone is set to increase its surgical capacity from 200 to over 2,000 life-saving children’s procedures every single year.

His commitment to the Down syndrome community is a core part of his philanthropic efforts. He has made significant contributions, including a large donation to the Emirates Down Syndrome Association, and even used his Formula 2 racing sponsorship to feature QR codes on the cars, raising awareness and funds for Down syndrome charities globally.

From funding rare disease research to supporting local communities, Carl’s mission is clear. He is building a legacy that extends far beyond the blockchain. He is leveraging his crypto success to give other families the one thing he values most: the chance for their children to fight, to survive, and to thrive just like his brother, who is his greatest inspiration.

Giving Back to the Society

Carl Moon Donates $400,000 to “KidsOR”

Carl Moon, the renowned investor, musician, and philanthropist, has donated $400,000 to the Kids Operating Room (KidsOR) in Tanzania, Africa. With Carl Moon’s help, 2,000 children will gain access to an enhanced surgical facility in Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC), one of Tanzania’s largest hospitals. The installation of the pediatric surgical suite is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. The new facility will have a dedicated surgery room and a recovery area for children.

Carl Moon is the founder and CEO of the Moon Group Investment LLC. He began his career as a grocery store cashier in Sweden before making a name for himself in the cryptocurrency market through his meaningful early investments.

He also runs a famous YouTube Channel, The Moon Show. With more than 650k subscribers, The Moon Show is considered one of the most trusted platforms for insightful and informative technical analysis of top cryptocurrencies and the overall market.

Carl Moon met Garreth Wood MBE, Co-founder of Kids Operating Room, and toured the region with him earlier this year. He visited the KidsOR facility in Zimbabwe and met the team behind all the efforts to expand surgical access for children in Africa. Carl Moon donated $370,000 to the Operating Room in Tanzania and $68,000 to the operating rooms in Zimbabwe.

While talking about his donation to KidsOR, Carl Moon mentioned, “I know there are many children out there who need surgery. I am very happy to be able to support them in the way that I will fund the surgical room in Tanzania in Kilimanjaro. Basically, we're going to be able to save up to 2,000 children every single year from that operating room, which is incredible.”

Expanding Surgical Access for Children Across Africa

With the donation of almost $400k, the KCMC Tanzania will be able to build a new surgical room and a recovery room that will accommodate 2,000 surgeries every year. Garreth Wood MBE explained how the donation of Carl Moon will have a significant impact on the wellbeing of children in Tanzania. He mentioned that the number of surgeries will go up from 200 at present to 2,000 per year with the help of Carl Moon’s donation.

The hospital is currently handling more than five million people across multiple regions, however, it lacks appropriate infrastructure to manage child surgeries effectively.

Most pediatric procedures have to be performed in adult surgical facilities that lack sufficient space, causing long delays and a huge risk for children requiring emergency treatment. Carl Moon’s donation will be directly used to cover this gap as the facility aims to increase the pediatric surgical capacity.

“We are building more than a surgical suite. We are giving children a fighting chance,” said Garreth Wood MBE.

The donation to KidsOR in Africa is a continuation of Carl Moon’s philanthropic initiatives, aimed at improving the medical facilities for children around the world. Previously,Carl Moon donated AED 300,000 to the Emirates Down Syndrome Association in 2023, demonstrating his profound commitment to enhancing the lives of children with Down syndrome.

Dr Jaroor, the chairperson of EDSA, expressed her heartfelt thanks to Carl Moon for his significant contribution. She emphasized that this donation will help improve the association’s efforts to enhance its activities and support events for the full societal inclusion of children with Down syndrome.

Earlier, Carl Moon donated $100,000 to the EB Research Partnership, supporting research for Epidermolysis Bullosa treatments and cures.
